It doesn’t really matter what you use to do it – typing is just about the same on all devices. Oh, sure, it’s bigger on some devices and smaller on others, but the letters and the keys are pretty much all in the same spots, and you have to press them all the same to get your message out. We’ve been typing the same way since basically the advent of the typewriter, QWERTY and all. Don’t you think it might be time for some kind of a change?</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The folks at AirType do, and I have to admit – <a href="http://airtype.io/concept/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">what they’ve designed is intriguing to say the least</a>. They’ve created a bluetooth keyboard that’s missing the keyboard, and they claim it will work anywhere, and even better, it will learn all of your typing habits and will adapt to each individual user. They claim a person can type on any surface whatsoever or they can also type on no surface at all if that’s their preference.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXfvPJO6UBaH8kqMPFKy2AVUZFVRXzAaQBOaAEYk9OgR4LyHZ069iTA6WOEIIcC1FsQ2nnAsm0G7PoysOkK3xXKPZw2KqkYbZpPUmM0NUkwnCapxBxORp_cd1i8SuuO7jW7ueRNPzmE9w/s1600/airtype.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXfvPJO6UBaH8kqMPFKy2AVUZFVRXzAaQBOaAEYk9OgR4LyHZ069iTA6WOEIIcC1FsQ2nnAsm0G7PoysOkK3xXKPZw2KqkYbZpPUmM0NUkwnCapxBxORp_cd1i8SuuO7jW7ueRNPzmE9w/s1600/airtype.jpg" /></a></div>

The keyboard works using 2 bluetooth bracelets which connect to an app to learn your typing habits. The bracelets will even clip onto a tablet so you can easily carry them wherever you take your tablet. AirType claims that its text prediction and text correction are state of the art as well, so a user won’t have to spend all their time detecting and retyping words.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
At this point in AirType’s development there is no mention of how much it will ultimately cost. If it proves to be successful, though, it could provide a welcome change to mobile typing everywhere.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">

In recent months many businesses including travel company <a href="http://www.expedia.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="expedia">Expedia</a> and Overstock.com have started to accept the online virtual currency.  A large percentage of the firms who are using the Bitcoin service have opted to use the payment processor start-up Coinbase.  Dell is by far the biggest company to have made the move to accept Bitcoin.  This move could potentially drag the crypto-currency that little bit closer towards a mainstream adoption.</div>

Laura Thomas from Dell, made the announcement in a <a href="http://en.community.dell.com/dell-blogs/direct2dell/b/direct2dell/archive/2014/07/18/we-re-now-accepting-bitcoin-on-dell-com.aspx" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Bitcoin Blog">blog post</a> on the company website, saying that it was “excited to bring you the choice and flexibility this payment option offers”. The I.T. firm’s website also has listed various benefits of using crypto-currencies: “Bitcoin payments can be made easily from anywhere in the world, and offer reduced payment processing costs…You have complete control over your bitcoin, so your bitcoin account isn’t tied to any financial institutions, can’t be frozen and carries lower transaction fees than most major credit cards.”</div>

Co-founder of Coinbase Fred Ehrsam, said that it took only two weeks to go from planning to launching the feature: “We’ve fostered a close partnership with the Dell team and that’s been instrumental in getting the Coinbase integration up and running in such a short timeframe. We look forward to continuing to support the team as they explore other ways to offer even more functionality when it comes to bitcoin payments.”  There is a downside if you happen to live outside the US! Unfortunately for potential UK customers (like myself), Bitcoin as a payment option is not available at the moment.</div>

If You Use Facebook At All, You’ve Been Experimented On

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Are you a regular Facebooker? Have you used it at all? Even a little bit? Maybe you are a faithful, every day (multiple times a day, of course) user, or maybe you only log on a couple times a week at most just to see what’s going on with all of your “friends”. Whatever the case, however much or however little you use Facebook, one thing seems to be true: <a href="http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2014/07/07/ex-facebook-data-scientist-every-facebook-user-is-part-of-an-experiment-at-some-point/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">at some point or another you have been part of some kind of Facebook experiment</a>. In other words, without you even knowing about it, you’ve been a test subject for Facebook. You’ve been a lab rat, and you haven’t even seen the spinning wheel they had you running on while the powers that be watched you and compiled notes for discussion later.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Now, the big “experiment” that’s recently been revealed concerns Facebook’s manipulation of several thousand news feeds over a week period a couple years ago. Facebook wanted to see what people would do if they saw only positive news stories vs. if they saw only negative stories. While that may not sound like a huge deal, there are a lot of people who are now upset about it because they had no idea they were part of any kind of an experiment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbGhbi9XJUTMI-bEYpk5xwUYAmaqX6WGPsLTOW9aO89bsc7h_CtHyt-4fOx4a4bOeRZW1OOS71FPb5Ynd0tKFyBt0SM6l4VIURYfalGuMK_DPEr6gs_y1RwYib47ISbyKa2D9gHfFdEEw/s1600/facebook-experiments-21.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbGhbi9XJUTMI-bEYpk5xwUYAmaqX6WGPsLTOW9aO89bsc7h_CtHyt-4fOx4a4bOeRZW1OOS71FPb5Ynd0tKFyBt0SM6l4VIURYfalGuMK_DPEr6gs_y1RwYib47ISbyKa2D9gHfFdEEw/s1600/facebook-experiments-21.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Now, before everyone freaks out wondering what kind of testing they’ve been a part of, we should all probably take a collective deep breath and calm down for a moment.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
A former data scientist for Facebook, Andrew Ledvina, worked for the social media giant until 2014. He talked to a reporter and let loose some things he probably wishes he would’ve kept to himself for a little longer. Here was the big one for me: “Experiments are run on every user at some point in their tenure on the site.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
What are those experiments? They’re probably not as earth shattering as the news feed manipulation story, but they consist of little things such as various text sizes, ads, and different buttons, etc.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
But here’s the thing – every single user (according to the ex-employee) has been part of an experiment at some time or another. Maybe it was a small one, like the above examples, or maybe it was a big one. But how will they ever know? They probably won’t.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">

These Car Seats Hope To Prevent Sleeping at The Wheel

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Let’s just admit it – most of us, at one time or another, have ventured closer than we’d like to admit to falling fully asleep while driving behind the wheel. When I used to work the night shift, it became almost a daily battle to keep my eyes open long enough to drive home; I was constantly nodding off and jerking my head back up, adrenaline kicking in long enough to keep me alert for another couple of minutes before my head would start nodding off again. There were even a couple of times when I began to veer off of the road only to be snapped awake by the rumble strips on the side of the highway. Today I’m so thankful I never crashed the car due to sleeping and driving. Others haven’t been so lucky.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Oh, there’s lots of ideas out there to prevent falling asleep behind the wheel – blasting the music, freezing yourself out with the air conditioning, rolling down the windows, slapping yourself (that one doesn’t really work), and the list could go on and on. If the body is tired though, there’s not a lot you can do to keep it from shutting down. Not for long anyway. But there’s some new car seats being developed that might just help drowsy drivers get home (or wherever else they’re going) safely without risking their lives or anyone else’s in the process. Some researchers from Nottingham Trent University have been hard at work designing a <a href="http://gizmodo.com/heart-rate-monitoring-car-seats-keep-you-from-drifting-1605202358" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">special type of car seat that detects a driver’s electrocardiogram</a> – in other words, it can read your heart rate, etc. to see when a person is falling asleep while driving.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKvPkyZz3HG8Ozcy0c7SyEvOGVLYamK8xoWIJy2VSPft0zTFPSwPATKExeOBMN0TsiiURGq9n0xd5qDd8cimbVVLGJP_fvrkWccZISDCIm1N-Ls28lYHy4Vs7zjz1WkyeOjhja7D528YY/s1600/shocktowakeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKvPkyZz3HG8Ozcy0c7SyEvOGVLYamK8xoWIJy2VSPft0zTFPSwPATKExeOBMN0TsiiURGq9n0xd5qDd8cimbVVLGJP_fvrkWccZISDCIm1N-Ls28lYHy4Vs7zjz1WkyeOjhja7D528YY/s1600/shocktowakeup.jpg" /></a></div>

<strong>Wake Up!</strong></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
To be honest, the car seats they’re working on are not ready to hit the market, nor will they be likely to within the next few years – but they do have incredible potential. The idea behind them is simple – when the seat detects a driver falling asleep, it will turn on all of the vehicle’s autonomous features, such as cruise control and automatic lane-keeping, and let the driver sleep peacefully.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
While I appreciate this technology, it’s also a little scary at the same time. What if something goes wrong? Can we really depend on an autonomous car?</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">

Xbox One Sales Have Doubled Since Unbundling Kinnect

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Back in June of this year, Techbeat (among others) reported that Microsoft was getting ready start selling the Xbox One without it being bundled with the Kinect. Prior to this switch, the Xbox One cost a whopping $499, which was immediately a drawback for many who wanted Microsoft’s latest and greatest video game console. That’s understandable – $499 is a lot of money for most of us hard-working individuals. Due to the original price of the device, Sony got an early lead on Microsoft and sold quite a few more of their PlayStation 4 consoles. That may be changing, though, thanks to Microsoft’s change.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
It seems many don’t want the Kinect with the Xbox One – it wasn’t quite as popular among gamers as they initially hoped it would be, so they did what they thought was best – take away the Kinect and drop the price by a hundred bucks. Sounds good, right? It turns out it was an excellent choice on their part. <a href="http://www.techspot.com/news/57446-xbox-one-sales-have-doubled-since-microsoft-unbundled-kinect.html" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">Sales of the Kinectless Xbox One have doubled since they unbundled it</a>.</div>

A number of smartphone sellers are now focusing on manufacturing their flagship smartphones water-resistant, following Sony’s lead. Impervious provides a solution that, according to the company, can add water and scratch resistance to devices such as the iPhone. There are other waterproofing solutions on the market that are similar to Impervious, but they usually have a relatively steep cost and they require people to send in their devices so they can be treated offsite.Impervious says on its website. “Impervious is an invisible nano spray with molecules 1000x smaller than a human hair with super-hydrophobic properties…When applied externally to your device, Impervious protects against spill damage and screen scratching. When fully applied to the outer & inner components of your device, Impervious is classified as IPX 7. We currently only offer full waterproofing kits for the iPhone 5, 5s and 6. When applied, your device can be submerged in (1) meter or (3) feet of water for up to 30 minutes (We do NOT recommend).”</div>

The Flone: A Phone & Drone Combined

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
What do you get when you combine a smartphone with a frame that enables it to fly through the air? Why, you get a Flone, of course!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Who says you have to be a multi-millionaire to own your very own drone? <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/technology/blog/2014/jul/24/phone-drone-flone" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">Some inventors have figured out a way to turn your ordinary earthbound smartphone into a sky-worthy drone that is able to fly up to 20 meters in the air</a>. Using a small wooden frame that uses batteries to power 4 propellers, the Flone is fully ready to make your smartphone more exciting than it’s ever been before. All you have to do is hook it up to the wooden apparatus, and then you’ll need to use another smartphone to control the Flone once it’s in flight. (So, yes, you need 2 smartphones to control 1 smartphone, but that seems like such a minor inconvenience considering everything the Flone lets you do).</div>

Just imagine the photographic possibilities you’d get while using the Flone. Want to get a rooftop shot without physically going up to the roof? No problem – just fly your phone up there and take a picture. Want to capture some overhead video of an event? No problem, just send your phone to the skies and hit “record”! (Of course you’d have to make sure what you’re recording is legal and all that good stuff).</div>

Perhaps best of all the Flone was created on the cheap, and does not cost much at all to make.</div>

The Worst Computer Viruses Ever!

<span style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">Over the years we have all become more and more dependent on the Internet and although this has resulted in advances in technology, at the same time it has left us vulnerable to hackers.  Let’s take a look at some of the worst viruses that have infected the Internet and just how disastrous they were</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVVWWo4LZzwnnM8WK0Cs_D1Fwu6ASdsRzAq3KhUImcAvAHMB1VPKMFZO58oLkqY4FblJ-FiP0sxS3CcffYhsc194gzphsyVwSAGmxC6vzm9-tMHl6vzHZ2wNeYHGJ5xfTUDxkpVbhfuu0/s1600/pcvirus1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVVWWo4LZzwnnM8WK0Cs_D1Fwu6ASdsRzAq3KhUImcAvAHMB1VPKMFZO58oLkqY4FblJ-FiP0sxS3CcffYhsc194gzphsyVwSAGmxC6vzm9-tMHl6vzHZ2wNeYHGJ5xfTUDxkpVbhfuu0/s1600/pcvirus1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<h3 style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
I Love You – 2000</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Back in the year 2000, the I Love You virus targeted its victims through email. An email was sent with an accompanying attachment, which when opened unleashed a malicious program that overwrote users’ image files. The purpose of the virus was to steal Internet access passwords and quickly spread because it would email itself to the first fifty contacts in every Windows address book that it was able to get into.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
It was able to infect around 500,000 PCs and cause approximately $15,000,000,000 in damage. Some speculated that it originated from Onel de Guzman of the Philippines but the authorities said there wasn’t sufficient evidence and charges were dropped.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhCQbgHd60VJlnycWm4Z0lmVRoJboHCkdaj0qhPLY0s2BjseNASeLCp8MNuj73JMVzWavy6u_EmirkQYW-xkz41B8Ky4yQkPTwAzG1VA4k7ANx_vjlG-UoWpaz8cyN2pYnc0hlIPh7mII/s1600/pcvirus2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="410" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhCQbgHd60VJlnycWm4Z0lmVRoJboHCkdaj0qhPLY0s2BjseNASeLCp8MNuj73JMVzWavy6u_EmirkQYW-xkz41B8Ky4yQkPTwAzG1VA4k7ANx_vjlG-UoWpaz8cyN2pYnc0hlIPh7mII/s1600/pcvirus2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<h3 style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
Code Red – 2001</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Code Red was a worm that exploited an operating system vulnerability in PCs running Windows 2000 and Windows NT. It worked by randomly selecting IP addresses and then scanning them for the Microsoft system before infecting the relevant PCs. It was able to deface and take down websites, which famously included the whitehouse.gov website. This prompted other government agencies to take down their public websites as a protection.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
It successfully infected 1,000,000 PCs and caused damage that amounted to $2,600,000,000.</div>
<h3 style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
MyDoom – 2004</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Another virus that was able to spread itself through email was MyDoom, which cleverly disguised itself as a bounced message. Once the email was opened by the unsuspecting user, the malicious code was downloaded and then stole information from the Outlook address book. In managed to cause $38,000,000,000 of damage and affect 2,000,000 machines.</div>
<h3 style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
Storm Worm – 2006</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
This Trojan horse program left PCs vulnerable to remote control by the hacker behind the virus. Users were tricked into downloading the malicious program due to fake links to news stories or videos. In some cases the hackers used Storm Worm to create botnets in order to send spam emails across the Internet.</div>
<h3 style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
Slammer – 2003</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Another Internet worm that was also known as Sapphire, Slammer infected around 200,000 PCs and caused $1,200,000,000 of damage. It released a huge amount of network packets, bringing many servers to a halt. It was able to infect so many because it randomly selected IP addresses in order to find vulnerable victims. It’s victims included the 911 emergency response system in Washington and Continental Airlines.</div>

Finally,  you can save those newsfeed bits and pieces you haven’t had the time to look at.  <a href="http://www.facebook.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Facebook">Facebook</a> has recently revealed their latest ‘Save’ feature.  It allows users to bookmark items on newsfeed they’d like to view at a later time.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Software engineer from Facebook, Daniel Giambalvo, states: ”Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away.  Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time.”</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmpOrJJ-jjoihHJGMmzaObJTfO6LwQ8nKlP9xcwXkfWs7qZqnrPihdGNHuV4aXRDKbvgs3omFNSoU8sd4VMpDP2jZQUiccsvhuQD4VwH1o15HesnAtI3N2z1_QuWOAN5k9A0-rrilaoMg/s1600/facebook.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmpOrJJ-jjoihHJGMmzaObJTfO6LwQ8nKlP9xcwXkfWs7qZqnrPihdGNHuV4aXRDKbvgs3omFNSoU8sd4VMpDP2jZQUiccsvhuQD4VwH1o15HesnAtI3N2z1_QuWOAN5k9A0-rrilaoMg/s1600/facebook.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
So what can you save?  Pretty much anything you want!  Links, movies, music, TV, places and videos are all fair game!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The good thing about this feature is that saved items are only available for users to view.  However, should you wish to share your save list with your friends, there will be a share-with-friends option.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
In order to view your items in the ‘Save’list, you simply click on the ‘More’tab on your mobile or click the side panel on the left side of your computer browser.  Very simple!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Another good feature of ‘save’will be its organisation.  Your items will be categorised and you can share items or move things into an archive.  You will also get reminders in your newsfeed so that you don’t forget what you have in your ‘save’folder.  You’ll never miss your favourite video again!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
‘Save’will be available to <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Facebook iOS">iOS</a>, Android and Internet web browsers in just a few days.  But if you want any questions answered about the new feature, the Facebook Help Centre is available for questioning.  Facebook is also testing a new ‘buy’option where users can purchase things directly through their news feeds.  We may never have to leave our houses again!</div>

Yahoo Launches Ending Service

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
<a href="http://www.yahoo.co.jp/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Yahoo Japan">Yahoo Japan</a> is helping a person to prepare for the inevitable that comes to all human beings.  Well, digitally anyway.  The firm is offering “Yahoo Ending,” a service, which amongst other things, allows account holders from Japan to send e-mails to loved ones after they have died.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Megumi Nakashima, a spokeswoman for the company said, “Yahoo Japan’s job has been to solve social problems through the power of the Internet and to provide services from the cradle to the grave…We had services for the cradle part but not the grave part.” The new ‘<a href="http://ending.yahoo.co.jp/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Ending Service">Ending service</a>’ is being portrayed as a means to address the problems that are encountered by families around the globe, who don’t have the passwords or legal authority that is necessary to shut down the online accounts of relatives who have died.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdcjvz0KZo3FtI7O8hSM3u73Wj4y5qpJG6ZnqRCfHMvXBqbufIjEFCOzYvFRpOorSVETrJE8zsjr0SHu0smVfvI9pR6OlyfiYV7ZJWwIm-T5kBHg17oFtqYoUQK1yWrKKX5NDsF2MckJ0/s1600/yahoo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="408" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdcjvz0KZo3FtI7O8hSM3u73Wj4y5qpJG6ZnqRCfHMvXBqbufIjEFCOzYvFRpOorSVETrJE8zsjr0SHu0smVfvI9pR6OlyfiYV7ZJWwIm-T5kBHg17oFtqYoUQK1yWrKKX5NDsF2MckJ0/s1600/yahoo.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
End-of-life preparation is also known as “shukatsu”. The basic service that Yahoo offers will deactivate the Yahoo user account after the person has died. The account holder can also opt to have their documents, photos and videos deleted from their ‘Yahoo Box’ online storage accounts and their subscription services linked to Yahoo Wallet cancelled as well.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Yahoo will send an e-mail the user has previously prepared, to as many as 200 addresses and open a “memorial space” bulletin board where people can leave online condolence messages. The service costs $1.80 a month.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Yahoo Japan’s Web site shows an animated video, which asks, “If today was the last day of your life, would you be ready for the journey?”  The Yahoo Ending site includes a video, which shows how the service will work; a family is sitting in a living room when all of their phones beep. It then shows the sort of message a family may receive: “If you’re reading this now it means I’ve already left this world. . . . I promised that I would never die before you, my wife, so I’m sorry. I had a really happy life thanks to you.”  In the video the son says, “It’s so much like Dad, who thought so much about us,” “We have to fulfil this because it’s his last wish. Mom, don’t worry about a thing leave it all to us.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
When the user registers for the service, they receive a booking number to share with a trusted individual.  When they die, that person then calls a Yahoo Ending service number and gives them the booking number.  Once this happens the deceased’s funeral preferences are then shared.
