Man Allegedly Used Siri To Help Him Commit Murder

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
I’ll be the first person to admit that I’ve tried to use Siri to do some stupid things. I’ve asker her to tell me jokes, if she’s single, what her favorite music is, what the answer to certain math problems are – heck, I even asked her to marry me once to see what kind of a comeback she’d answer with. I have too much time on my hands sometimes. But you know something I’ve never asked Siri? I’ve never once asked her where to hide someone’s body. Nope. Not even close. Hopefully none of you reading this have ever asked that question either.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
But Pedro Bravo, a 20-year-old man from Florida who is currently on trial for the murder of his friend and roommate<a href="http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/florida-man-accused-of-killing-his-roommate-asked-siri-where-to-hide-the-body-9665437.html" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">allegedly did just that</a>. In fact, it seems evidence from his smartphone is starting to mount against him. His roommate, Christian Aguilar, went missing on 9/28/12, and his body wasn’t located until it was found in a shallow grave several weeks after he was killed. Sometime before he was killed, though, evidence was found on Bravo’s phone which showed him telling Siri: “I need to hide my roommate.” Siri allegedly responded in classic Siri tone.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">

Siri allegedly responded with the above image: “What kind of place are you looking for: swamps, reservoirs, metal foundries, dumps?” Prosecutors also have shown that Bravo used the flashlight app on his phone several times between 11:31 PM and 12:01 AM on the night his “friend” disappeared, and that the phone’s location data does not match where he said he was at the time.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
What do you think? Does it surprise you that people are turning to digital assistants like Siri to help them commit murders? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.</div>

Microsoft To Release Low End Phone Priced £15

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
There are still people out there that have no interest in technology but still need a handset or those who want a mobile device but can’t afford one.  <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Microsoft">Microsof</a>t has announced the release of a dual-sim mobile phone.  The best part?  It will only cost you £15.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
For such a basic phone, it will be available in three different colours: red, silver and black.  It is a surprise introduction to the Nokia range.  Although it won’t be able to access wireless internet, users can use USB connection, an SD card or Bluetooth to download videos and music onto the Nokia 130.  £15 and you can still watch videos.  Amazing!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

But that is not all, oh no, that is not all!  The mobile device includes a rear-mounted torch light, a 1.8 inch colour display screen as well as a FM radio.  Better yet, the Nokia 130 has a super long battery life and can last up to 36 days on standby and has 13 hours talk time.  For many areas in the world where electricity is not readily available, long-life battery is the key to the successful sale of this product.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Jo Harlow, the head of Microsoft’s mobile phone department said:  “this is a massive market segment, and there are not a lot of players in this segment for the reason that scale is really important. We have the distribution and supply chain scale to compete effectively in this market.  This is a space where smartphones today don’t reach, so there is still very strong benefits to our business.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Although it is such a low cost phone, Microsoft expects to gain profit from the sale of this phone.  The plan is to market the device in countries like China, India, Vietnam and Pakistan.  However, if you are expecting it in the UK, you will be disappointed.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
If you are looking for a cheap handset, you can purchase one for £26 from a firm called <a href="http://www.karbonnmobiles.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="karbonn">Karbonn</a> who launched a touchscreen smartphone last month.  But you’ll have to order it online as it has only been released in India.</div>

You can see the rest of the specs at the <a href="http://www.nokia.com/global/products/phone/130-dual-sim/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Nokia 130">Nokia </a>website.</div>

IOS 7.1.2 Jailbroken

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
A group of security researchers at the <a href="https://www.gtisc.gatech.edu/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="gtisc">Georgia Tech Information Security Center</a> (GTISC) have recently revealed a way to jailbreak the current generation of <a href="https://www.apple.com/ios/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="iOS">Apple iOS</a> devices such as iPhone and <a href="https://www.apple.com/ipad/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="iPad">iPad</a>, running the latest iOS software.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Analyzing previously patched vulnerabilities with incomplete fixes discovered the jailbreak.  This new jailbreak will enable circumvention of Apple’s closed platform and enable people to dig around in the system and tweak it to their liking.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
To patch all vulnerabilities for a current, complex software system such as iOS is frequently difficult because of the volume of bugs and the response-time requirements involved. This latest jailbreak shows that rapid workarounds leave these devices vulnerable to exploitation.</div>

Yeongjin Jang, one of the Ph.D. students who led this study said, ” Our work shows that software vendors must patch all publicly disclosed threats, as they may be exploited in other, equally disruptive attacks.”</div>

Tielei Wang, a GTISC faculty member who worked closely with Jang as lead of the project said, “We start by finding new ways to exploit vulnerabilities with incomplete patches…Then, we use those vulnerabilities to discover new avenues of attack. We’ll detail these vulnerabilities and the exploit techniques that we developed.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
During <a href="https://www.blackhat.com/us-14/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Black Hat">Black Hat USA</a>, the GTISC research team are set to inform people of the process for jailbreaking the current version of iOS (7.1.2) on any iOS device, including the latest flagship model; iPhone 5s.</div>

Introduction</h2>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">The </span>Lumia 930<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"> is the international version of Verizon's exclusive Lumia Icon flagship, and is arguably the swan song of the Nokia that were, as it has been conceived before Microsoft gobbled up its entire smartphone business. Nevertheless, it is Windows Phone's attempt to hold the flagship fort against Android juggernauts like the</span>Galaxy S5<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"> or the </span>Xperia Z2<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">. At first brush it has everything needed to take them head-on, like a large 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a 20 MP main camera, and exclusive Dolby surround audio recording. With its chunky, but comfortable to grasp chassis, the Lumia 930 is one solid piece of unibody craftsmanship.</h5>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Compared to the </span>Lumia 1020<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;"> and its giant 41 MP camera hump on the back, Nokia Lumia 930 is definitely smaller. However, at 5.39 x 2.80 x 0.39 inches (137 x 71 x 9.8 mm) and weighing 5.89 oz (167 g), it is still bulky and heavy for a 5-incher. The heavy unibody chassis feel very solid, though, and this feeling is further reinforced by the aluminum rim surrounding the sides, which gives the colorful polycarbonate pillow-shaped shells of the Lumia 930 a more premium look. We also liked how the tapered cover glass slopes towards the sides to merge with the metal rim for one uninterrupted look and feel. Nokia bragged that it takes hundreds of robotic movements to achieve the curved glass edges, and we have to say that the results of all that scrubbing are very pleasant to hold or simply look at.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">The buttons are all located comfortably on the right hand side, with the most used power/lock key right smack in the middle. The lock key, as well as the volume rocker above it, and the two-stage camera shutter button are very ergonomic, easy to feel and press without looking, and with a deep tactile feedback. </span><br />
<h2 style="background-color: white; color: #454545; font-family: 'Open Sans Condensed'; font-size: 24px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 24px; margin: 12px 0px 0px; padding: 0px;">

True to its traditions, Nokia supplied a display with excellent outdoor visibility, and then threw in manual color mode adjustments for a good measure.</h5>
<div>
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Lumia 930 sports a 5” 1080x1920 pixels AMOLED display with the respectable 441ppi pixel density. You have several display modes to choose from, like cool, vivid and advanced, with the latter letting you play around with color temperature and saturation sliders, until you've reached the desired results. Color saturation can be adjusted from “natural”, all the way to the gaudy “vivid” level. Color temperature goes from warm through neutral to cold, while you can also emphasize separate colors with another slider – from green to purple. In the default mode, we measured the color temperature to be 6724K, which is very close to the reference 6500K white point, but still, white has a slight purpleish tint. As usual with AMOLED display, colors are oversaturated colors but to a lesser extent than, say, in the Galaxy S5's default mode.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Nokia's ClearBlack layer on top of the display comes to improve the screen reflectivity and we can attest that the Lumia 930 performs great in terms of outdoor visibility. We took it out together with the Galaxy S5, which is great in this aspect, and Nokia's phone performed on par, even beating the S5 by a tad when looked at from an angle.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Covered by sculpted Gorilla Glass 3, the Nokia Lumia 930 screen should withstand more than a few bumps and scratches, and, as usual, it also features a supersensitive touch layer, meaning that you can operate it with your gloves on.</span></div>

iPhone 6 To Launch On September 9th?

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
After months and months (years, even) of speculation, it seems we now know when Apple will finally unveil the iPhone 6 to the masses. Thanks to Re/code, <a href="http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2014/08/05/iphone-6-launch-date/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">we know that Apple is planning to host a big-time media event on Tuesday, September 9th</a>. And just what will they be unveiling at the big reveal? Well, if history has anything to say about it, they’ll be revealing the newest model(s) of the iPhone. In years past, Apple has chosen the month of September to officially reveal the newest iPhones, and then to make them available to everyone for purchase about 10 days later. If this theory holds out, people could have their own iPhone 6 on September 19th of this year.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
This could potentially be Apple’s biggest iPhone unveiling yet, as they are rumored to be offering 2 different models this year which will finally offer a substantial screen-size increase. If the rumors are true (and they are most likely true), there will be a 4.7 inch model, and a 5.5 inch model which will supposedly have higher-end specs (maybe a sapphire screen!) than its little brother. Each of the phones will operate on Apple’s yet-to-be-released iOS 8, which they also promise will turn out to be another game changer.</div>

Original Bioshock Game Coming To iOS‏

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The “big news” from 2K Games has been revealed, but it might not be what Bioshock fans were hoping. Original Bioshock will be ported to iPhone and iPad, allowing gamers on mobile to experience the 2007 video game that started the trilogy of games.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
2K Games has been one of the biggest video game publishers to push mobile remakes of popular video games. Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto has been ported onto iOS and Android in the past, Bioshock looks like the next franchise.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtUpkU-gHlPAcM_18IfWKVxoYBa-DzovOOJ6HiCk0S3_8s65BjW6W96smW79GgHMP5CPQpN-9GLcq9sgsZnRBO7ozjv0lNPD_Ofczdoaizz88xPNfPiQkGxmoPTrKPhq12078Qh3cOK6A/s1600/trggg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtUpkU-gHlPAcM_18IfWKVxoYBa-DzovOOJ6HiCk0S3_8s65BjW6W96smW79GgHMP5CPQpN-9GLcq9sgsZnRBO7ozjv0lNPD_Ofczdoaizz88xPNfPiQkGxmoPTrKPhq12078Qh3cOK6A/s1600/trggg.png" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Bioshock will be available to play on iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and on the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C. It is not the largest lineup of available devices – leaving out the original iPad Mini is a bit of shame, considering the millions of people who still use the tablet.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The redesigned mobile game will feature touch-screen controls similar to Grand Theft Auto. 2K Games has always priced their mobile ports at fair but higher than usual mobile game prices, in order to maintain the quality of the video game and not sink it to $0.99 territory.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
In early tests, Bioshock on mobile appears to stay true to the 2007 console version of the video game, but the effects quality has been lowered. This does show the low quality of graphics on mobile still, as both Apple and Google stress “console performance” on their mobiles.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
No official price or release date has been announced by 2K Games. The port should work fine for most mobile gamers, but for players who have previously played the console game and have a working console or PC, we would recommend trying the higher-quality version.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
It will be interesting to see the price on the mobile port, considering Bioshock has been available for next to nothing on PC Steam sales more than once.</div>

Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Set To Feature Higher-End Specs‏

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Almost all reports claim Apple will launch two iPhone 6 models in 2014, one 4.7-inch and another 5.5-inch. This wouldn’t be the first time Apple looks to add a second size to the range; the MacBook, iMac, iPad, and iPod lines all offer variable sizes, the iPhone stands alone.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The report also fits with the growing concern from Apple about Samsung and the growth of their two high-end lines, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note. The 4.7-inch model looks to go after the Galaxy S, HTC One and other flagships, while the 5.5-inch model competes with the Galaxy Note, Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One Max.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The iPhablet</h3>
<div dir="ltr" style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The new report from <a href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/08/04/analyst-apple-could-equip-55-iphone-6-with-more-powerful-processor-than-47-model" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">Apple Insider</a>, citing Cowen & Co. analyst Timothy Arcuri, claims supply chain sources have started preparing different application processors for the 5.5-inch iPhone. Apple will add a larger and more powerful A8 chip to the 5.5-inch iPhone 6, in order to cull buyers into paying more.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The two application processors will be named the A8, but will be separated in their development. Apple might look to simply up the specs on the higher-end A8 chip, offering faster speeds and lowering power usage, to make the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 offer more impressive stats.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Manufacturing will be done partly by Apple’s rival Samsung and partly by TSMC, a Taiwanese semiconductor company. This report does have a bit of conflict, with other reports saying TSMC won the full rights to production, following Apple’s move away from Samsung.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Foxconn will also be involved in the main manufacturing of the iPhone 6, alongside Pegatron, another Chinese manufacturer. Apple will get the sapphire glass for the front of the iPhone 6 in the United States, from local factories in Texas.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Apple is projecting around 80 million sales of the iPhone 6 before the end of 2014. This appears to be for both versions, although the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 might be available later in the year or perhaps at the start of 2015.</div>

Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Set To Feature Higher-End Specs‏

iPhone 6 Coming in September?

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Well, it’s another week which means there’s another iPhone 6 rumor. This one, though, seems like it might have some merit which is worth talking about. FastNewsMag just recently reported that Walmart is one of the major retailers offering massive price cuts on their inventories of iPhone 5c’s and 5s’s. <a href="http://goo.gl/DO7Qaj" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">In case you missed that article</a>, you can now buy an iPhone 5c for $29, or you can get a 5s for $99. (These deals are only available in physical stores, and you have to also sign a new 2-year contract). While that’s great news about lower prices, that’s probably not the best news. The best news might just be that it’s not going to be too long before something takes the iPhone 5c/5s’s spot on the shelf – namely, the iPhone 6. It seems like Walmart (amidst other retailers) is trying to reduce their inventory load so they can replace it with Apple’s latest offering once it’s available.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
And, speaking of its availability, <a href="http://www.techspot.com/news/57206-big-screen-iphone-6-models-could-hit-the-market-in-september.html" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">many signs point to it being released in September of this year</a>. Apple seems to like the month of September, as they’ve announced several iPhones during the month in the past. It would seem September would also coincide around the release of their newly designed iOS 8.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdC4Bbd2_ahRwDF3wsKw3UEv1pfAHDiuxfbuqAkoMlYwHzYS2T8ZTDKidb6WoOAJemDTSmSe9fffLPhJmLAhcwYRvDDioV5VJNqgsdSm3eQE7mFrpovYyT0rxGQcS_37pCvKl_QJKQvS0/s1600/iphone6.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdC4Bbd2_ahRwDF3wsKw3UEv1pfAHDiuxfbuqAkoMlYwHzYS2T8ZTDKidb6WoOAJemDTSmSe9fffLPhJmLAhcwYRvDDioV5VJNqgsdSm3eQE7mFrpovYyT0rxGQcS_37pCvKl_QJKQvS0/s1600/iphone6.png" /></a></div>

It has also been widely reported that the iPhone 6 will be the first of the iPhones to come in multiple sizes, ranging from a 4.7 inch screen to a 5.5 inch screen. It seems the smaller of the 2 will be more readily available at least at the time of its release, as the bigger screen appears to require rare sapphire in its construction. The phones will also be slightly more curved (as you can see in the image) than previous models.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">

Walmart Drastically Cuts iPhone 5c & 5s Prices

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Well, if you don’t already own an iPhone 5c or 5s, there has never been a better time to purchase one than right now. In a move that screams “something bigger is coming down the road”, <a href="http://www.dailytech.com/Walmart+Slashes+Price+of+iPhone+5C+5S+to+29+and+99+Respectively+on+Contract/article36134.htm" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">Walmart has slashed their prices on the popular Apple devices</a>. They’ve also cut down the prices on iPods in recent days.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
So, if you find yourself eligible for an upgrade and would like to get your hands on one of the aforementioned devices, all you have to do is visit a physical Walmart location (the deal is not available online), and head to the electronics counter. Once there, you can choose to purchase the iPhone 5c for a mere $29, or you could pony up and get the iPhone 5s for $99. Either way, you’re getting a really good deal any way you look at it. Everyone loves a good deal, and Walmart as of right now seems about the best place to go and pick up a new iPhone. However, we should also realize that it probably won’t be too long until Apple decides to announce the release of the long-awaited and rumored iPhone 6. If you don’t care about not having the latest and greatest phone, though, the iPhone 5c and 5s are great phones to have, and there has never been a better time to get one.</div>

Verizon To Begin Slowing Down 4G LTE Data Speeds

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
If you are currently on an unlimited data plan with Verizon (which is about 20% of all Verizon customers who have a data package), some recent news they’ve announced might soon affect you in a big way. Due to more and more people using more and more data each month, Verizon is dealing with clogged bandwidths which in turn affects other data users. As a result of this network congestion, they’ve come up with a new solution they hope will help to solve the problem: they’re going to slow down the 4G LTE speeds of users who meet some specific conditions, <a href="http://www.techspot.com/news/57542-verizon-is-preparing-to-throttle-4g-lte-unlimited-data-users.html" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">and they’re referring to it as Network Optimization</a>.</div>

Will your data be slowed? Only if you meet ALL of the following conditions, as fleshed out by <a href="http://www.techspot.com/news/57542-verizon-is-preparing-to-throttle-4g-lte-unlimited-data-users.html" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">Techspot</a>:</div>

2. You’re using data from a high-demand site</div>

4. You’re in the top 5% of data users, which means you’re regularly using more than 4.7 GB a month</div>

Verizon has announced that this new change will begin taking place on October 1st of this year. And, while the change seems drastic, one should remember that they must meet <em>each </em>of the above mentioned criteria before they’re affected, so it’s not like everyone on an unlimited data plan will have their speeds slowed.<i></i></div>

Seinfeld Emojis Are Now Available For iPhones!

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve used my fair share of emojis, especially when I first entered the smartphone world. I’ve used countless smiley faces, frowny faces, tongue-sticking-out faces, you get the picture. While I don’t use all that many of them anymore (I’ve just gotten lazy and don’t want to search for them), I can still easily see their appeal with the masses. They may be about to get more popular than ever, though, especially for those of us who use iPhones. Why? Because special Seinfeld emojis <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/emoji-seinfeld-edition/id896504493?mt=8" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank">are now available in the Apple App Store</a>.</div>

If you love Seinfeld and you love to use emojis, your world may now be complete!</div>

Unfortunately, for the time being, the Seinfeld emojis won’t replace your normal iOS keyboard – but all of this will fix itself once iOS 8 is released sometime in the fall. You can use them in Facebook and Twitter messages, or you can save them to the camera roll on your phone.</div>

All in all, there are 42 Seinfeld inspired emoji icons for you to use and look at to your heart’s content. And while you can’t use them everywhere just yet, you can gaze at them and laugh as you remember some of the funniest moments from the classic sitcom.</div>

Samsung Mock Apple Before iPhone Release

<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
So do you belong to the church of Apple or are you an Android enthusiast?   Well, <a href="http://www.samsung.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="Samsung">Samsung</a> has released an ad on<a href="http://www.youtube.com/" style="color: #0092dd;" target="_blank" title="youtube">YouTube</a> entitled, ‘Screen Envy’ which mocks iPhone users for their ‘patience’ at having to wait for a larger screen.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Two friends are sitting in a cafe, both looking at their phones.  One has a Samsung while the other is sporting his iPhone.  The iPhone carrying friend states that the ‘iPhone might be getting a bigger screen.’  “That hasn’t happened yet?” responds his friend with the Samsung, obviously sporting a much larger screen.  “You know that thing you’ve been waiting on for like two years, and how it’s supposed to be awesome, and how it’s gonna blow your mind?” the narrator pipes up in an extremely sarcastic manner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2DfSCL-3BVuIvqp0zPOf3HO7ZHAJXki3b8OF4h8tIEy2vJ_l0bA5rmxGadwbZnh7UL592NFQcaYKtexHuyEBEABuJ9DN-jvb4YF68uVH14xtKreyfO7bIlRj8q4u3WlIGKIvhJ0rZ7E/s1600/samsungandiphone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2DfSCL-3BVuIvqp0zPOf3HO7ZHAJXki3b8OF4h8tIEy2vJ_l0bA5rmxGadwbZnh7UL592NFQcaYKtexHuyEBEABuJ9DN-jvb4YF68uVH14xtKreyfO7bIlRj8q4u3WlIGKIvhJ0rZ7E/s1600/samsungandiphone.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
The narrator then states:”Well it’s been here this whole time, but maybe you just like waiting.”  The camera then goes in for the close-up shot of the two phones.  The Samsung with an obviously bigger screen.  “It’s everything you’ve been waiting for: 5.1 inches of full HD on the Samsung Galaxy S5.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
Samsung has already mocked Apple using video advertisements making fun of the iPhone’s battery life and the iPad’s screen.  Adding fuel to the proverbial fire, they have now created this new video mocking the long wait for a bigger screen by iPhone users.This ad is apparently in response to the rumour that Apple will be coming out with two iPhone 6s which will have a 4.7 inch screen and a 5.5 inch screen.  These are both bigger than the iPhone 5s, which only has a 4 inch screen.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #5f6d80; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.310400009155273px;">
So is Samsung already the next big thing?  Will the iPhone 6 be worth the wait?  What do you think?  Leave your comments below!</div>
